Inaugural Cash Mob a Success!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Eau Claire's Inaugural Cash Mob a success! I spoke to an exhausted Jeff Mares last night, owner of Infinitea Teahouse and he said it definitely had an impact.  What do you say we try to double the size of the mob for National Cash Mob Day in just two weeks!

For any who were unable to be part of this wonderful event, here is a recap from the owner and the reason we do this:

The Cash Mob experience was truly a blessing. It’s hard to put a monetary amount on how much money was spent since so many people did come in days before the event knowing that they wouldn’t be able to make it, and days after telling me how they were sad that they had missed the event but were still trying to do their part. At the busiest moment around 4:30pm I would estimate about 30 people were in the store with a line reaching our front door at one point. The best part of the whole event has to be how many new faces showed up wanting to give us a chance and see what we were all about. As I said many times before any business would love the opportunity that I was presented with, one where you get to share your passion with new people and see how happy they are or amazed that they had never been down before. Lastly I just want to express how thankful I am for the Cash Mob and everyone that helped support the single greatest day of sales in Infinitea history outside of December, with a 123% sales increase. With the money from the Cash Mob I will confidently be able to launch my newest idea, so check back to see what we were able to create!
