National Cash Mob Day is March 24th

On March 24th there will actually be two cash mobs in observance of National Cash Mob Day. There will be one in Eau Claire and one in Menomonie around the same time.  Please see the Facebook event pages for more details:

    It's a 'nice' idea that I'm sure businesses appreciate, however, the mandatory $20 spending requirement is a bit restrictive & noninclusive, as is the rule for a nominated place to have a nearby 'watering hole' -- There ARE places that are not close to bars worthy of consideration.

    Thank you for your interest! On the Mob Rules page please note that the text above the rules states we will attempt to follow them but not every rule will apply to every Cash Mob event. Also with the help of Right Way Shuttle we have the opportunity to bus people to to and from events that are not located downtown or may not be near a local watering hole. As for spending $20 it is not a requirement but a suggestion as the more each person spends the bigger the impact for the locally owned business and the more they can do for the community in return.
